Executive Assistant to the Chancellor
Yvonne Edwards has been the Executive Assistant to the Chancellor for 6 years and on the UC Berkeley campus for 26.5 years. In this role, she manages the Chancellor's calendar, speaking engagements, prepares the Chancellor's daily briefings and a long list of other duties.
Erin McDevitt
Interim Associate Chief of Staff
Erin McDevitt began a full time role in the Chancellor’s Office in December 2022. As Interim Associate Chief of Staff, she directs operations for the Chancellor’s Cabinet and the external advisory group Board of Visitors, oversees administrative staff in the Chancellor’s office, and serves as a liaison between the Chancellor’s office and student, community and advisory groups. Erin has 13 years of experience with UC Berkeley. Her previous roles in Berkeley University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) office included campaign planning, support of the UC Berkeley Foundation, and international fundraising and alumni relations.
Prior to joining Berkeley, Erin held leadership positions at Bay Area nonprofit organizations, including serving as Chief Operating Officer at Community Partners International and as Special Assistant to the President and Assistant Representative of the Indonesia office of The Asia Foundation.
Erin enjoys hiking, skiing, gardening, and ceramics. She has lived in Oakland for over 25 years with her husband, two kids, and dog, Tango.
Erin received her BA in English from Smith College and her MBA from the Haas School of Business at Berkeley.
Azia Tullos
Executive Communications Manager
Azia is the Executive Communications Manager and has been with UC Berkeley since 2021. She manages the Chancellor's departmental inbox, website, and signature, among other duties. She also helps manage internal communications for the campus via the Calmessages support team and the Office of Communications and Public Affairs. Prior to her work at UC Berkeley, she worked in Texas in K-12 communications, as a reporter for a local newspaper and in video production.
Geraldine Esteban Liscano
Executive Assistant
Geraldine Esteban Liscano became the Executive Assistant in the UC Berkeley Chancellor's Immediate Office in September 2008. In this role, she provides executive administrative support to key executives, including the Associate Chancellor, Chief of Staff, Chief Ethics, Risk, & Compliance Officer, Deputy Compliance Officer, & Special Faculty Advisor to the Chancellor on Campus Welfare and the Chief Campus Counsel. Additionally, she serves as an administrative assistant to the Office of Ethics, Risk, and Compliance unit (OERCS). Before joining UC Berkeley, Geraldine worked as an administrative specialist to the Associate President and Special Assistant to the President in the President's Executive Office at the UC Office of the President for several years.

Director of Finance and Business Services
Tim has a robust financial planning and budget analysis background with over 15 years of operational finance experience, spanning both the banking industry and higher ed. He has a strong foundation of operational finance: forecasting, planning, budgeting, analysis, reporting, and process improvement experience. He has worked in various financial and management leadership roles across UC Berkeley including the Office of Environment, Health & Safety and CSS Financial Services.
Tim is from a small town called Kinvara, in County Galway, Ireland, and moved here in 2005, where he resides in the north bay with his family of four. He serves as Co-Chair for the finance committee for his local municipality providing feedback and guidance to City staff on financial & investment policies, strategic plans, budget development, and other relevant financial management decisions. His favorite hobby is playing and watching soccer and he spends his summers coaching the “Fighting Irish” a little league girls soccer club.
Megan Landin
Administrative Officer
Megan is the Administrative Officer and Control Unit Administrator (CUA) for the Chancellor's division. She works with division leadership to achieve their HR, finance, and planning goals.
Michael Thompson
Building Manager
Michael Thompson is the Building Operations Manager in the Chancellor's Immediate Office. He has been in this role since 2023 and at UC Berkeley for over 28 years. He currently manages facilities and operations for California Hall, University House, 2222 Piedmont and Fox Cottage. Prior to joining the Chancellor's Office, he was the Facilities Manager of 1608 4th Street and a Business Admin Analyst in several departments. In his free time, he enjoys fitness - including hiking, swimming and yoga. He also enjoys traveling to faraway places, drumming and eating at restaurants. Michael is a people person and gets the most fulfillment from interactions with his colleagues, staff and vendors.
Yolanda Licea De Cazares
University Housekeeper
Yolanda is the Housekeeper for the University House. She has been with UC Berkeley for three years and is happy to be a part of the Chancellor's Immediate Office team. In her free time, she enjoys going for walks to relax.
