Bettina Duval

Ms. Duval serves as the president of BRDBND, a telecommunications hardware manufacturer. She co-founded Friends of the University of California, a political action committee advocating for the University of California. Additionally, she founded CALIFORNIA WOMEN’S LIST, a political action committee dedicated to electing women in California, contributing to the success of over 62 women in elected offices. Formerly, she presided as the president of the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Monica Board of Governors and continues her service on the board, along with roles on the Berkeley Hall School Board of Trustees and as a member of the Everychild Foundation.
Ms. Duval currently chairs the UC Berkeley Foundation Board, bringing her decade-long experience as a member to this pivotal role. She also serves as vice chair of the Goldman School of Public Policy Board at Berkeley and previously served on the Parents Board. Additionally, she co-founded ACCION, a nonprofit providing college counseling to Latino high school students.
Ms. Duval previously served on the National Campaign Steering Committee for the Light the Way Campaign. Alongside her husband, Glenn, she remains committed as a dedicated Builder of Berkeley.
