Larry Sonsiniis senior and founding partner of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. He has gained international recognition for his expertise in the areas of corporate law, corporate governance, securities, and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Sonsini has been instrumental in many of the public and private financings, IPOs, mergers, acquisitions, governance issues, and other key public and private transactions of Silicon Valley and the technology industry in general. He is chairman of the board of trustees of Santa Clara University and a trustee of the American University of Rome. Mr. Sonsini is a former member of the New York Stock Exchange Board of Directors. He serves on the board of directors of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and the Computer History Museum. He is also the former Chair of the American College of Governance Counsel.
Mr. Sonsini previously served on the National Campaign Steering Committee for the Light the Way Campaign and is a Builder of Berkeley.
