Charles Huang

Charles Huang is co-founder of RedOctane and co-creator of Guitar Hero, which reached $1 billion in sales more quickly than any video game in history when it debuted in 2005 and was the bestselling video game in the world in 2007 and 2008. In 2006, Mr. Huang and his brother, Kai, were listed among the top 50 producers in new media by the Producers Guild of America New Media Council. He is currently CEO of Indigo 7, which owns several brands in fashion, technology, and entertainment. Mr. Huang currently resides in Silicon Valley with his wife and two daughters. He founded the Huang Scholars Program at UC Berkeley, providing students with intensive Chinese language instruction. He and his wife, Lillian, are Builders of Berkeley.
