Kathy Kwan

Kathy Kwan is a local philanthropist who funds safety net, educational, career, and leadership development programs in the San Francisco Bay Area. At UC Berkeley, Ms. Kwan supports programs in the College of Letters and Science, Student Affairs, the College of Computing, Data Science, and Society and Berkeley Journalism. Previously, she funded projects in the School of Public Health, the Jacobs Institute, and the Division of Equity and Inclusion. She also provided one of the anchor matches for the 2020 Student Emergency Fund.
She currently serves as the co-chair of the advisory board of the College of Letters and Science. She is also a member of the Board of Visitors. She is a recipient of Berkeley's Spirit of 1868 Award (2019) and Berkeley Founder's Award (2024). Ms. Kwan and her husband, Alan Eustace, are Builders of Berkeley.
