As the first person in his extended family to attend college, Marc is a grateful graduate of UC Berkeley. Upon receiving his degree in business administration, Marc got his professional start with Deloitte and became a CPA. After getting his MBA in 1992, Marc joined McKinsey, the management consulting firm, where he was a Senior Partner until recently. Over the years, Marc has led volunteer efforts for several units around campus, co-chaired multiple class reunion campaigns, led recruiting efforts to hire Cal grads at both Deloitte and McKinsey, and coached student teams in the Haas School’s Social Sector Solutions class. He currently serves on the Haas School’s Board and on the Board of Directors for the Cal Alumni Association. Marc has also served on the board of Junior Achievement of Northern California for more than two decades and is co-chair of its Governance Committee.
Marc and his wife, a Cal alum, are Builders of Berkeley and live in the Oakland hills.
