Staff Ombuds Office

The Staff Ombuds Office announced the release of their 2010-2012 Biennial Report, which provides information about its non-confidential activities.  It also includes recommendations regarding workplace bullying, integrated conflict management systems, and challenges surrounding organizational change.

Nicholas Dirks, Columbia University's executive vice president and dean of its faculty of arts and sciences, won unanimous approval from the UC Board of of Regents today. “Nicholas Dirks is a humanist with an invaluable mix of scholarship, fundraising experience and administrative experience," UC President Mark Yudof said. “I am confident he is the right leader at the right time for UC Berkeley.”
