Sharon Bonner-Brown
Danville, CA

Sharon was recruited in 1976 from the Midwest to Silicon Valley, where she held multiple executive IT positions in the years that followed, including at Apple Computer, where she served as senior executive responsible for IT worldwide. Later, she founded Learning Street, USA, one of the earliest private companies to provide computer enrichment programs to young children and their parents. Through her husband, Bill Brown ‘66 and his mother, father, and sister —
all Berkeley graduates — she became an adopted Cal Bear. Ms. Bonner-Brown serves as a trustee on the UC Berkeley Foundation and previously served on the National Campaign Steering Committee for the Light the Way Campaign.

The Browns enjoy participation in a variety of university programs and are Builders of Berkeley.
