Jennifer Simon-O’Neill is the Chief of Staff and Senior Woman Administrator for the Athletics Department at UC Berkeley. With a strong background in collegiate athletics administration, Jennifer brings extensive expertise in operational leadership, Title IX compliance, and gender equity in sports.
Previously, she served as Associate Athletic Director at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, where she oversaw athletic operations and student-athlete development. At Berkeley, she manages day-to-day departmental operations, oversees strategic and athletic communications, and serves as the sports administrator for men’s basketball, women’s soccer, and men’s and women’s rowing. Jennifer also represents Cal on the Pac-12 Council, the MPSF Administrative Board, and the NCAA Division I Women’s Rowing Committee.
Jennifer holds a BA in Mathematics and Sociology from Mount Holyoke College, where she competed in women’s rowing, and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
