Marc Fisher is the Vice Chancellor for Administration at UC Berkeley. With extensive leadership experience in university operations, Marc brings deep expertise in organizational management, strategic planning, and operational excellence in support of public higher education.

Previously, he served as Vice Chancellor for Administrative Services at UC Santa Barbara, where he led key initiatives to enhance campus operations and infrastructure. At Berkeley, Marc oversees a division of more than 2,000 staff, directing units such as People & Culture, Information Technology, Capital Strategies, Facilities Services, Berkeley Regional Services, the UC Police Department, Supply Chain Management, Parking & Transportation, ADA Compliance, and Campus Sustainability.

Marc partners closely with the Chancellor and Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost to drive operational improvements and strengthen Berkeley’s organizational culture, with a special focus on advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
