Rebecca Sablo is the Associate Chief of Staff. Joining the office in fall 2025, she works closely with the Chancellor and Associate Chancellor to manage the campus strategic planning process, address key matters on behalf of the Chancellor, and provide leadership and oversight to the immediate office.
Since 2006, Rebecca’s leadership journey at UC Berkeley has spanned multiple divisions. She has served as the Chief of Staff in the College of Letters & Science (L&S) and on an interim basis in the Division of Academic Planning. Rebecca has also served as an Assistant Dean in L&S and the Rausser College of Natural Resources. Her other roles on campus have included Senior Associate Registrar in the Office of the Registrar and Assistant Director for Student Services in the Berkeley International Office.
