Shariq Yosufzai

Shariq Yosufzai retired as vice president for global diversity at Chevron Corporation, having served for 43 years in positions of increasing responsibility, including as president of Chevron global marketing from 2004 to 2010. In addition, Mr. Yosufzai was President of Texaco Lubricants Company, corporate vice president of Caltex Corporation (a Chevron company), president of Caltex Lubricants and New Business Development and Caltex vice president for Africa.
Mr. Yosufzai served as the interim executive director of Cal Performances and is currently treasurer and secretary of its board of trustees. He is an executive committee member of the San Francisco Opera’s board of directors and served as chair of the board of the California Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Yosufzai is the recipient of the 2017 Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award from the Asian American Business Development Center. He was named to the Economist magazine’s global diversity list as one of the top diversity professionals in 2015. Mr. Yosufzai was awarded the Doing a World of Good Medal by AIChE in December of 2020.
