On May 29, 2021, the Building Name Review Committee received a proposal to unname Moses Hall.
During the winter and spring of 2021-22, the committee reached out to the Berkeley community for input on the proposal. The committee reviewed this feedback and submitted its recommendation to the chancellor in May 2022.
After approval by the chancellor and UC president, the outcome of this consultative process was announced on February 7, 2023.
