Leslie was most recently UDAR’s executive director of campaign planning and constituent partnerships. In her six years at UDAR, Leslie helped lead and direct the historic $7.37 billion Light the Way campaign, with a particular focus on developing successful campaign strategies, compelling messaging and data analysis and reporting. In her new role, she plans to lead with a collaborative spirit and to strengthen campus partnerships to elevate fundraising across UC Berkeley while also supporting a staff experience that is meaningful, inclusive and welcoming.

A 1986 Berkeley graduate in business administration and marketing, Leslie has a deep connection to our public mission and brings nearly two decades of higher education experience to the role. Before joining UDAR, Leslie was assistant dean of development and alumni relations at the Haas School of Business, where she worked closely with school leadership to raise more than $69 million in support for the school and additionally completed a $75 million campaign for Chou Hall. Prior to this, Leslie was associate vice president for development at San Diego State University as well as at California State University, Chico.
